Siemens’ technology is able to assess COVID-19 infection severity and can help mobilize testing quickly. One of these products is a wireless handheld ultrasound system that WORLD manufactures for Siemens.
When CT isn’t readily available, lung ultrasound may be a useful alternative aid. Siemens’ mobile unit enables technicians to scan for infiltrates in the lungs and is accessible in high-demand or isolated locations. Wireless ultrasound transducers with integrated controls allow technicians to make assessments of care while maintaining safe distances from potentially infected patients.
