The work we perform falls under an exception to Governor Wolf’s Order. WORLD electronics Sales and Service, Inc, is in the Manufacturing Industry in the subsector of Computer & Electronic Product Manufacturing serving the industry group manufacturing Navigational, Measuring, Electromedical and Control Instruments Manufacturing.
We are heeding the suggestions put in place by the CDC and the Governor in that we are allowing those employees that can work remotely to do so, however approximately half of our workforce have job functions that must be done at our plant. We have taken additional measures to protect these employees including but not limited to adjusting work schedules to reduce the quantity of employees on site, requiring mandatory handwashing every couple of hours, emphasizing social distancing and quarantining all received packages for a period of 24 hours.
